CLICK HERE FOR MY PALETTES 'TUTORIAL'

Originally written for use on Eden Enchanted, this has been hovering in my hard drive for months and months, without being used anywhere. I've been trying to figure out how to post it on dA for about a week -- and finally pyro suggested a link in the comments, so here it is.

This is not a cheap fix. This is not a matter of copy and paste. This is more about looking at colors and learning how to make your own palettes, how to use trial and error to have a positive impact on your work.

I allow people to use all my palettes, and request a link back, but don't demand it -- I won't come looking! However, I'd prefer it if you studied my palettes and what I have to say here and then figure out what works for you, and what looks best with your style.

Me, too :rofl: I doubt I'll be doing any dolling, but the pizel aspect is still there... I think I've been bitten by that particular but, this year :rofl:

Thanks for this! I knew/understood everything that you'd said already, but it was really nice to actually see an example -- it'll make it a lot easier to pixel if or when I'll do it again.

This is actually very helpful. I always wondered how people came up with these wonderful palettes...I guess I just didn't know which colors to mix together D:
