THIS PROJECT IS COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY OVER!!

~lizbot and I were chatting and I sort of came up with this idea for a collaborative 'quilt' of sorts, of icons that all fit together and form a scene. She had the brilliant suggestion of an aquarium, thus this Avatar Aquarium Project is kicking into motion!

AVATAR AQUARIUM PROJECT



--WHAT IS IT?--
If you've been around dA for any amount of time, I'm sure you've seen people creating avatars that 'fit together'. Bits and pieces overlap, and when you put them together, they form a pretty little scene! The idea is to do something along those lines, but wider scale -- not just tying two people together but a large group.

--WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?--
Anyone who reads the rules. There's no skill level requirement, or auditions, or anything like that -- we want this thing to grow! (:

--HOW DOES IT WORK?--
Well, we want there to be some overlap between icons, not just individual pieces that are based around the theme. As a result, there is a simple template for people to use. Also: you'll have to wait for a spot to open up.

If you want to be a part of the Avatar Aquarium, please reply to this topic saying that you either want the spot to the *left* of the scene so far, or the *right* of the scene so far. Once you sign up, you'll have 24 hours to complete your new avatar and post it in a new comment, or else your spot gets offered to someone else.
